Gadget II not listed as I/O device

Question

Hello, 
 
 I just received my ETCNomad packagedand am trying to set up an Elektralite Eyeball through the Gadget II and I can't figure out how to get this light working. I'm not 100/% sure where the issue is occurring, but I think the problem might be that the Gadget II is not showing up in the Setup - Diagnostics page as an I/O or anything like that. The light on the device is green, and the indicator is blinking green. I'm using the 2.9 Legacy version of EOS because my computers OS is too outdated for the most recent version. I am on a MacBook Air. Has anyone else encountered similar problems? I'm very new to lighting. Thanks, Jason

I restarted and managed to install that version (3.1.5.8) ! It finally works! Thank you so much, I literally never would have figured that out!

This sounds like you have a brand new Gadget II? Check if the version you have received says CPU2 on the white sticker. If so you're unfortunately out of luck, that generation of Gadget II is only compatible with 3.1.4 and up.
