Non-Dims

Hi

We connected our EOS to our network on Friday.  Yipeee. So I had a look at the show that I had "shadow plotted", ie with no visible output, in order to get used to the board.  And I discovered that the Non-dims that have been patched appear to be permanently on as soon as the show is loaded, with no display to indicate that they are on?

So I guess that I would need to make a custom non-dim that we can load onto subs in order to control them, and that we are able to see in the channel display.

Any thoughts?

  • Crispy and I noticed this yesterday when we were trying to figure out what the Non-Dim percentage was.  As soon as you turned the type into Non-Dim, it came on.  I had already put my own Non-dim curve 900 (ON at 50 percent) so it was no big deal, but non-dim and hot-patch are two seperate things.  And the 500 series certainly treats a Non-Dim as something that comes on at a particular percentage.
