slow repaint time switching between blind and live

We're running version 1.8 on two networked EOS consoles along with one RVI, one ACN gateway, and one client laptop. There are about 750 active channels, 20 vari-lite 3500's and 22 scrollers. The screen repaint time seems pretty slow, about 3 seconds. Wondering if this is normal and whether there is any way to get the system to respond more quickly. Thanks!

Are you seeing this on all consoles?

There is a known issue with display lag when you have 100 channel display enabled and you are in a Flexi View. Could this be the situation?

This only really shows up in the Live Channel tab though, are you seeing the problem on other displays too?

We're seeing slow response time on all consoles in Live Table view using Flexi Patched Channels view on the external monitors.

Let us know if you are still seeing this when you upgrade to 1.9 please?

There were some known GUI slows that were fixed in the latest release.
