updating subs in 1.8 (maybe 1.9)

Hi again.

Can someone confirm this for me?

[Update] works differently in 1.8 for submasters than it does for cues, correct?

If I [Update] an I-Master sub, and that sub is referencing Beam palettes and Focus Palletes, I don't get the same options of updating all (palettes, presets), making absolute, or breaking nested. Is this true, or I am crzy?

Does the new 1.9 [update] screen affect subs the same way it does cues?

If I have an I-Cue unit in position as set by an I-master sub, based on a FP, and I move the focus postion over, I can update the FP, but the data is still in red in the channel display. If I [Sneak], the focus will move back to the original FP position. If I run the sub down and up, the new FP will take command. will Asserting the sub also fix this?

Has this been modified in 1.9? (I will upgrade, I just need to find the break in the schedule to do it).

Andrew, in 1.9, the options for updating cues are also available for sub updates. Modified sub information does not appear in the update dialogue box until you say [Update] [Sub], as a general update applies to cues.

Hi Again.

Finally got 1.9 loaded. I just discovered as i was setting up for Emanual Ax that [Update] [sub bump button] doesn't work any more. The sub bump button seems to assert the sub level if it is higher than the manual modification.

Any reason for the change? I did like it the other way.
