Broadcast Mode

Choose between the following options:

• Directed Broadcast - broadcast packets are directed to a subnet based on the IP address and subnet mask of the sender.
• Limited Broadcast - the limited broadcast address is 255.255.255.255. Since routers will never forward datagrams with that destination address, datagrams with the limited broadcast address are confined to the particular network segment on which they originate."

Thanks, but it is only working with limited broadcast mode (even when i'm connected from the  ethernet port of the console, directly to the node with simple rj45 cable, without ethernet switch)...and if i understand (say me if i don't) it must also work with directed broadcast selected, no?

it supposed to work with if you change your subnet . Try 255.0.0.0 

"First thing to realise with ArtNet is that all equipment must be in the IP address range 2.x.x.x or preferably 10.x.x.x with a subnet mask of 255.0.0.0. Use the 2 or 10 address range but not both on the same network. Turn off any DHCP settings or auto IP addresses."

I will try to change subnet mask tomorrow... but usualy if ip adresses are all 2.0.0.x subnet mask 255.255.255.0 must let them talk together, or I do not understand nothing in subnet mask ...

...and I worked all day with remote control on an Iphone with this subnet mask (255.255.255.0)

I found the solution… last programmer put the same subnet and same 2.0.0.x ip on both ethernet ports… without caring of the warning…
