Eos ion classic console forgetting effects are running

Can you describe the forgetfulness a bit more? You have an effect running and without action on your part it stops? Was the effect manual, or recorded in a cue or sub?

Any time I tell it to stop an effect it will say no effect running and the only way to stop it is to use go to cue

No matter if it is recorded it to a sub or cue it give the same error and only go to cue will stop it 

What command are you using to stop the effect? And what's your software version?

We are running version 2.9 and I use the command (chan 1 thru 999 effect 0) and we don't use any channels above 999. We never got the motherboard replacement Iif that will change anything.

The console is telling you that no effect with the number 0 is running. To stop an effect either use the {Stop Effect} softkey under [Fader Controls] or use Chan 1 [Effect] [Enter].
