5000 chans and more

Hello (sorry have a list of questions today!)

I'm sure this subject has already been breached, but we have channels over 5000, is there an impending release that will allow us to patch up to 9999 chans?  ps when is the next software release due (without being pushy)? xx

  • Hey Sarah.  We haven't yet addressed this.  I have a question for you though.... the way it was explained to me, you don't actually need more than 5000 channels, you just want to be able to number them anywhere from 1 - 9999.  I'm not sure it really matters, but is that correct?

    Can I just chime in here and say that this is correct as far as the RSC are concerned.  Our house light channels are in the 9000s and some other things are in the 5000s and 7000s.  We don't have anything nearing 5000 channels, we just need to be able to name them as such.  Could you extend it to 5 digits while you're at it?

    While you are addressing this issue, I'm sure you will also be addressing the issue of deleting channels, correct?
