I am getting the units sometime this week.  I built a new fixture today in the fixture creator which I think is right but I won't know until I get them hooked up.

Fair enough.  But we'd like to add these devices to the library.  Can you tell me the model number(s)?

I have an element 40 and don't have a profile for the Legend 550 also.  I am having trouble with creating a profile as well.  Things like "pan fine" and "tilt fine" are not choices on the library.  Can you help?

Hi,

Parameters with fine and coarse control need to be switched from 8 bit to 16bit. To do this simply click in the 'Size' column of the fixture editor for the relevant parameter. This will toggle between 8 and 16 bit and you'll be able to enter the DMX channel for Coarse control in the DMX column and the Fine channel in the LDMX column.

Does that make sense?

Well, the first part of changing the parameters from 8 to 16 does make sense.  The rest, I think I understand but I have just gotten this element board as well as the moving lights so I am very green when it comes to all of this.  But, I think I can get it.  Thank you very much.  There are others that are not showing up as well, like the "pan/tilt speed".  Is it the same kind of fix?  Sorry I'm so ignorant, but I'm really enjoying learning it all.

I would suggest using the PositionMSpeed parameter for the Pan/Tilt speed channel. When you make a custom fixture it doesn't really matter what you call the parameters as long as it makes some sort of logical sense, and is in the relevant category. At the end of the day it's just a name.
