USB DMX interface

Has anyone tried running the ion offine with a usb dmx interface? If so what interface are you using? Hoping to this as a temp backup system as the Ion is still hard to rent and we had ours crash. Lucky another theatre in town lent us there's while ours went to the shop. Thanks

  • Ion Offline and Ion Clients cannot be used to output DMX level information.

    Ion Offline can communicate with a visualiser for pre-programming work, or to an Ion console/RPU as a "MIrror" device.
    - By adding a Client dongle, it can act as a remote workstation for an Ion console/RPU.

    If your console has to come in for repair, we can usually arrange for you to have a loaner console until you get your console back.
