V1.9 Color Format breaks Color Picker reference

using 1.9 offline, 1.7 in house.

Since 1.7 we've been using "Chan 1 Color 5/26" (Rosco 26), etc ,to set colors on our CMY fixtures. We use Color Format to solve mechanical and color fading issues. While checking v 1.9 offline to determine if we should upgrade I noticed that Color Format sets all color parameters to absolute values. We will then be forced to use color palettes to identify the values, like in versions 1.4.x

I believe that this is expected behaviour. The Gel Picker references are always Hue/Saturation, so changing the color format to CMY will result in absolute information.

I'm sure it was this way in 1.7 as well?

Your best bet is, as you say, to create Color Palettes.

If it worked this way in 1.7 why would I be complaining now? We've been using 1.7 since last July, and in that version Color Format does not kill the Gel references. It was the best thing about 1.7
