Multiple USB EOS Nomad on a single network

Hello,

I have an Element 2 running EOS 3.2.6.29. in a control booth.

I have a network that has one ASUS laptop in Backup Mode in an office space, and 

one MacMini in Mirror mode in a backstage space.   

I am having to move the USB EOS Dongle from the laptop to the MacMini if I want the Mac in Backup Mode.

If I purchase a second USB EOS Dongle, will they cause a conflict?   

Will they allow me to restart the Mac in Backup without having to carry the dongle around?

I am aware that only a single  PC can operate in Backup Mode at a time.
