Command Line Search seems to not be searching any record targets such as Presets or Cues or Effects, it's only searching channels?

It searches the type of record target currently expected in the command line. If you want to search presets start the search when you have the word Preset in the command line.

Is there a way to search Cue Label?
Sorry, I figured it out; it was obvious. Put 'Cue' in the Command line and then use the search.
Exactly. When you select a result of the search and press Enter the result will be inserted into the command line. For this reason it might help to start your command line differently depending on what you want to do with the search result.
E.g.
you want to re-label a cue:
Cue <Search result> Label x Enter
you want to put a cue on stage:
GoToCue <Search result> Time 3 Enter
you want to update a specific preset:
Chan 2 Focus Beam Update Preset <Search result> Enter
Great, thanks you for this, that helps. Starting with 'Go To Cue' <Search> is something I'll use a lot.
