Nomad for Legacy Element

Question

I am using Nomad in Element 2 mode, which I thought would work for a legacy Element, but when I tried to load (just the patch...hadn't written cues yet) on to the Element from a thumb drive, it would recognize the drive, but not the file. Thoughts on where there might be a problem/mis-match? Much appreciated!

If you're creating the file with software 3.x but want to read it with 2.x you will need to change the file format when saving your showfile. 
 esf3d can be read by version 3.0 and later 
 esf2 can be read by version 2.9 and later 
 esf is the legacy format that can be read by all older versions.
