Hi folks,
I'm trying to prep some groups for a show file, and I hit a wall with some multi-cell units. If I have a top and bottom row of multicell cyc units, is the only way to make a group that matches them to each other to record (201.1 + 301.1) + (201.2 + 301.2) etc all the way down the length of the cyc? If that's the case I suppose I can do it, but it feels like there has to be a better way.
I'm specifically looking at 8 units, and being able to push effects across pairs of them. So 101+103+105+107 are in sync, as are 102+104+106+108, but broken down into the 24 cells each unit has with a color chase or something. 48 groups of 4 cells each.
Is there a keystroke or softkey I'm missing, and I can just do (101+103+105+107) + (102+104+106+108) with a "BY CELLS" modifier? And to complicate it further, would I be able to take that group and CopyTo and make MirrorIn / MirrorOut variants? I have limited experience with multi-cells, so all of this feels just a step out of reach.
