Eos and Ion Status Displays

Lately it seems there has been some confusion as to what the different status displays mean.  Hopefully this will help.

 

 

  • The explanations are good.  However, as I posted previously, in the 2 1/2 years I have had the ION I have only ever seen the very first display - that is "User 1 Primary Master" in yellow with one exception which occurred the other day when "User 1 Offline" in red was displayed.

    The ION is connected only to DMX ports 1 & 2 for output and has always been connected to an active Ethernet network via an Ethernet switch so I can connect with my computer when necessary.

    So, in my original post I was asking why I got the User 1 Offline display - and I'm still wondering.  Also, which network do the messages refer too, Ethernet or ETCNet2 and Net3?
