Moving the cue list onto a the touch screens on an EOS

Hi,

After I have programmed my show, to prevent me from having to look to the side of the desk when running the show I move the cue list to one of the touch screens, (normally the one above the faders) I then zoom the cue list so that I can see all the columns that I want to. The only thing is that the area at the bottom of the cue list where it details the current and next cue and what the faders are upto doesn't get any smaller and ends up taking up a lot of the space on the smaller screens, especially if you place the cue list above the CIA. Is there any chance that this can be resized when moved to one of these screens?

Also one of things that I miss from operating a stand during a show is there was a different coloured bar over the cue that you were about to run, a couple of times I have forgotten to look at the current/next cue info at the bottom of the list and found that I ran a different cue to what I was expecting!

Hi Chris. Yes, the "fader ticker" as we call it isn't currently scalable. Sorry about that. Will be dealt with in 2.0.

Regarding some sort of indicator regarding the pending cue. At the moment that is shown in 3 locations. In the fader ticker on the PSD, if running from the master fader... it is also identified in the master fader status area above the PSD. And then shown in the cue list. We've not really given any consideration to other indicators, but can ponder.

Thanks Ann,

Sorry its taken me so long to get back to you i've not been able to get online properly... I can only see two places that it shows you the pending cue, firstly above the master fader secondly on the fader ticker but can't see where it shows you on the cue list...

I agree about the visual differentaton that is made for the pending cue on 500 Series. Every time I go back to 500 I really appreciate this!

Anne - this was glanced on (very briefly!) in a conversation on the Advisory Forum with Sarah Brown and myself, when we were discussing the addition of the horizontal gathering element to the PSD. Way back in July '08 I think...

This may be a stupid question, but how do you move the cue list to above the CIA? For the life of me I cannot figure it out.

You first need to clear the direct selects from above the CIA, press DISPLAYS then go to VIRTUAL CONTROLS and CLOSE MODULE then tap ABOVE CIA. Then use TAB to put the orange border around the cue list once there press and hold TAB and a page left or right key until it gets to above the CIA, you can also place it on one half or all of the left hand touch screen if you close one or both of the direct selects...

With the direct selects or faders or colour picker or anthing that you can open from the virtual controls it becomes a place where you can place anything that would open on a tab eg patch... groups... park etc...
