Another RFR Question.

Howdy Samuel,

first off you need to make sure that the RFR Handheld and Base have the same HF Channels and Network Group. The base channel is

set in the Eos settings under RFR, adn then the Handheld settings are configured, by holding down the "C" key when turning on the

handheld. Then after those are matching, you can change the connection method by holding down the "." key when you power up the

handheld, and instead of DIRECT USB, you need to pick USB BASE.

This should allow it to work fine. 

You also need to make sure the Handheld is up-to-date with the V2.0.7 Firmware; if not, you can download it from our website to a usb stick,

and update it from your console.

This morning I was able to set the HF channel for the handheld, but I'm having difficulty setting it for the base. After working with the board, the RFR settings, as far as I can see, only permit the enabling/disabling of RFR. The path I use to reach the RFR settings is as follows:

{Setup} {Desk Settings} {RFR Settings}

The board is running version 1.8 (we'll be upgrading to 1.9 soon) and the handheld is running version .29. Is there a setting page on the board I'm missing that could potentially resolve this issue?

If your base is connected via USB to the console, you will set the Base settings for the RFR in the SHELL Settings area.

You need to exit the Eos/Ion Application, and there you have a settings button in the Shell. Press that and go to the RFR Tab.
