Magic sheet needing double click

I have set up a magic sheet for busking that has buttons on it linking to submasters. In this way I can control for example the colour changes of some S4 PARS but using a fade time, so in the options set to up 3 secs, hold then down 3 secs. Each set of buttons has a BO as well, for colour using inhibit mode, for dimmers recorded at level zero.

It works fine except that after the first use of each button the next time I have to click on the button twice to make it happen.

The colour changes are left as htp on the submaster options since these always run ltp anyway. Intensity changes via dimmers are set to ltp.

I have tried switching off automark but that made no difference.

Is there any way of getting rid of the double click? Or maybe this is not the best way to do this anyway!

Thanks.

  • Submasters that are for colour were recorded by selecting the channels at full, then picking the colour from the color picker. The submaster was then recorded by selecting the channels, then record (ie using Record Only). Then submaster properties are the default settings apart from the timing (Additive, Prop, HTP, Bkgrd, Enabled, Times selected up 3, hold. down 3, Nothing, Exclude nothing, FX Off 0 On). The inhibit colour was recorded at full, then set to inhibit mode. The dimmer channels were done the same way, except all set to ltp, and the off state by simply recording using zero intensity.

The magic sheet uses the square drawing tool  to create the "button", each one being associated with the required submaster by choosing submaster as the target and the required sub number. None of the fields are selected but appropriate text is added to each "button" along with a suitable fill colour.

I did the colour ones first and the double click issue was there even when I had only done a few just for one set of lights.

  • I tryed to remake it and i can't find your error.
attached my attempt, please have a look.
