You must go to Shell and switch off "Use Shift key as Eos Shift", the Shortcut for "Eos Shift" is "Z". Now you can use the "/" key as expected.

The Shell is the small startup window which comes up when you start the nomad app.

This is not normal. But you can use also the "Exit" button in the browser.
