What does a red ! mean in the FW/HG field of the PSD?
It appears when the showfile is used on the Ion but not in Nomad.
I can't find a reference in the manual.
Thanks.

I wondered about that but the ! appears in the wrong place to indicate a dimmer error. It's in the Fw/Hg column of the PSD. Nothing to do with the patch table.
Can you post a picture? I have a feeling you're seeing a graphical artefact.
I'm afraid I can't; we were on tour using another venue's ION.
For reasons that don't matter the showfile had to be created from scratch on their machine.
I will load the showfile into our ION at some point and see if the same thing happens. As I've already said, it doesn't happen on Nomad.
Do you have RDM turned on? That would possibly indicate a dimmer problem, but turning RDM off would answer that really quickly. The only other thing that I think I've seen once before is if you have an older version of EOS than what your show was saved in, and there is some timing information that isn't backwards compatible. But I could be wrong in remembering it. You could always upload the show file to support and they could provide some answers for you.
