Bug? Learn [shift+next] or [shift+last] doesn‘t work

Learning a macro that does [Shift] & [Next] or [Shift] & [Last] (advances the cue/palette without changing channel selection, written as Next_Target or Last_Target) doesn’t work anymore. It just writes Next or Last. Macro editor also doesn‘t offer the correct syntax.

tested on Eos Ti and nomad v. 3.2.9.16

thx, Diana

  • Thank you for reaching out. We did some research and this is what we found:

    1. When learning [Shift]&[Next/Last] you get [Next/Last] [Select Last]. This actually is what the console does for [Shift]&[Next/Last].
    2. When using [Shift]&[Next/Last] in the macro editor you get [Next/Last_Target].
    3. This behavior is the same for 3.1.5 and 3.2.9
    4. Behavior of (1) is written up as [EOS-51208] "Cannot Learn [Next_Target] into Macro, get Next Select_Last"

You write that you only get [Next/Last] when learning [Shift]&[Next/Last], would you mind re-checking that you get [Select Last] as well?
