'Selection Ring' around buttons in a Magic Sheet

I have a grid of chairs and I want to make a macic sheet with a grid for this, and I can tap on one of the MS chairs and have my moving lights make a spot on that chair.

My question:

I want to have the chair that has the spot on it to have a 'selection ring' on it (Like when inserting fixtures into an MS - when selected, they recieve an orange outline) while that chair is subject to the spotlight, and have it 'deselect' if the fixture(s) are moved away via the magic sheet or something else.

System info:

Working offline on Macbook Pro 2020 with installed Eos software downloaded from website. I do not have a licence key plugged in.

  • You will need to work with a combination of different objects. You want the selection so you need a channel object. And to move channels you need either a focus palette or a preset, or if you want to do the selection and move in one click/touch a macro or command.

I suggest you try to figure out if you want to have the selection (not the selection ring, the act of selection) separate from the position or if it should be exactly one tap. If you have that it's just a question of layering the objects to see the selection ring while the thing you actually tap is the position.
