LED Tape Pixel Mapping

Hi All

This may sound like a stupid question but help appreciated greatly

I have LED tape this year for Portals it is 8 channels and is 16bit tape. I've never pixel mapped before and would love to give it a go. I believe it runs off 1 driver per light box

How would I do this? how do I set it up on the desk?

One Pixel is like a regular Fixture.
You can think of one Pixel as an LED PAR. Maybe that helps more.

How would I patch this into the patch though to get it to work as pixel map as normally I patch 1 channel to LED RGBW 16bit 8 channel mode

I think we need to clarify first what type of tape and controller you're using. Do you use what's called Pixel Tape and a suitable controller that lets you access each individual pixel? Or does the controller only allow the whole line to be controlled as one?
