Element 2 Light Interval Issue

We have had an Element 2 for just over a year.
Have most of my initial problems sorted out (wish it would not toggle to blind so much when I am working in LIVE, but that's another story).

As I create new cues for my show, I am having a perplexing problem.

Some cues come with editing boxes to insert INT UP and INT DOWN times. Some do not.
Some cues come with editing boxes for Focus Color and Beam. Some do not.

At the end is the Duration which doesn't need an editing box.

These box issues appear to be random. Is there something that makes these boxes available for each cue?

I have used other methods to get the duration inserted, but having the editing boxes in each cue would make life easier.

ALSO - With some cues, I will have three seconds for Interval, but everything else is set at 0. When I activate that cue, the three seconds are fine, but I also get the Color doing the same thing, sometimes longer, even though the box is set at 0.

Still new with this system, apologize for any wording errors.

  • The boxes for INT UP and INT DOWN times only appear as two boxes if the values (time) are different is some way (different time, a delay, etc.).  I both up and down time are identical, and the delays are either the same or nor present you got just one larger box for time.

If you want the second time box, when in a cue, enter different times for up and down by either entering [Time] [chose a number] [Time] [a different number] [Enter], or by setting your down time directly by pressing [Time] twice ( i.e. [Time] [Time] [a number] [Enter] ).

You don't get boxes in Cues for Focus, Beam, etc. if there isn't any of that type of information in a Cue.  However, you can get directly to those values by repeatedly pressing [Time] (watch the command line while pressing [Time] to see the different choices you will get ).

    Hope this helps.
