Importing Pixel Map Media

Hey all,

I have an upcoming show with an Alexa-like practical that has prerecorded speaking lines, and I'm tasked with having it light up in time with those lines. I have access to the waveforms through Audacity and initially tried to make linear effects to match those waveforms, but it very quickly became impractical. What I'm trying instead is to take screen recording the EQ bar while the cues play, then importing that as pixel map media.

When I import, I'm able to see a still image of the EQ bar, but I can't make the video play back. I've adjusted the play mode to loop forward and once forward, and I've adjusted the playback speed, but no combination of those parameters makes it work.

As for the file information, I'm limited in my video capture software, so it's just my Mac's native QuickTime, which makes them .mov files with H.264 codec. Resolution is 150x58, duration is 8 seconds, and file size is 131KB. This is within the limitations provided here (https://www.etcconnect.com/webdocs/Controls/EosFamilyOnlineHelp/en-us/Default.htm#28_Virtual_Media_Server/Pixel_Map_Media.htm?TocPath=Virtual%20Media%20Server%7C_____2).

All of this has been prep work offline - I've redownloaded Pixel Map Installer v1.0.1 for Mac to no effect.

Any ideas what I'm missing? Files attached.

Thanks,

Cody Whitfield
