moving blocks of LQs

Question

Hi - We're doing a dance show and the LQs have all been set so the Op just needs to press Go to go from one cue to the next. 
 Now the director wants to change the order of the dance pieces. How can we reorder the cues without having to rewrite them? Would the Link function work? Let's say there were 6 cues (for simplicity's sake) and we wanted Cue 5 to move to after Cue 2. Would this be the programming?

 3 
 4 (link 6) 
 5 (link 2)

 Or is there another/better way? Thanks.

Yes the link tool works for this. I have done it on many an occasion. It can become a little messy so careful. 
 The other way to program this sort of thing is to use a cue list per item. so item 1 is cue list 1 and item 2 is cue list 2 and so on. Then no matter what the order you only need to press the go button for the cue list under the fader it has been assigned to .

This will make your Go button bring cues 1, 5, 2, 3, 4, 6 on stage.
