My Element is stuck in highlight and I can't get it back into standard mode.

Question

My Element is stuck in highlight and I can't get it back into standard mode. 
 I have tried hitting S3, which is not doing anything. 
 I don't even really know how highlight got turned on in the first place, I wasn't trying to use it.

Is this an Element classic or an Element 2? 
 Element 2 has a highlight button [High] that has a built-in LED indicator. 
 For Element classic you would be using the softkey, but if your software isn't too old, you can also have a look at the virtual facepanel (Tab 7) which should show you the layout of Element 2 with its High button.
