Auto-Updates

Are you looking for an automatic update to the console software? Or do you want to automatically update cues?

Uptating the console software is a manual process by design for a couple of reasons:

• Your console should not be connected to the internet, so there's no mechanism to automatically download updates.
• Updates may change how the console operates, so you should avoid doing an update in the middle of a show run or when you don't have time to test how your current show works with the new software.

so would I just get a thumb drive and download it like that?

Yes. Download from our website the current Eos v3.2.10 Update file to your USB Stick, and then insert in console and update in the Shell-> Update.

On the page where the Update can be found, there is also the Eos Family v3.2.10 Release Notes which

explain the main reasons for the update, and instructions to update the console software, and if needed any necessary firmware updates to the console hardware, incase the console software is very old. Which Eos Software is currently on the console? Which console? You can see this in the ABOUT window if you press the ABOUT button on the console.
