Is it possible for a cue to dictate what is assigned to a singular sub on a fader wing?

I'm wondering if it's possible to have one sub (ex. Sub 41) be changed based off what cue the console is it. For example, while in cue 13, sub 41 is assigned to a certain bump with colors, and while in cue 15, sub 41 is assigned to a different bump with different colors.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

  • Hey I had a go at linking SNAPSHOTS to CUES on execute.

You need to be one HUNDRED percent certain that you've set up your snapshots correctly, making sure to configure them to only change FADERS.

You also need to make sure that your main cue list is stored on the snapshots, otherwise recalling your snapshot wipes the cue from the master fader pair which is a bit disorienting.

In this attachment, Cue 1 triggers shapshot 1, which puts SUB 101 on the first handle. So on and forth with Cue 2 and 3 respectively…

    Hope this helps.

An alternative might be to use a linked macro on cue execute to COPY existing submasters into a submaster assigned to a particular handle.

All in all this is useful, but a little clunky. I'd want to be testing extensively before relying on either method in live production.
