Is there some way to "download effects"?

This would help people that know almost nothing about effects (like me) to have awesome effects for shows. 

If you don't understand I mean like finding something on the web, putting it on a thumb drive, then putting it into a console

If this isn't possible then it would be a good idea for an update.

    This is an interesting thought. I learnt effects by grabbing a handful from someone else and then modifying them to see what it does. Now when programming I have quite a number of stock effects like colour over background (10x snap 10x fade and so on). When I a asked "can we do this?" I am in a good place to either modify one of my effects or build a new one because I know how to and I play a lot when I have time. 

    There is a good series on youtube with David Cane Intro to effects. spend some time there and have the software open on your computer or console and play along.
