Bump Button doesn't act like a Flash Button

Hello,

I'm gonna try to explain my problem.

When i press BUMP button and Hold to do a  flash and then I want to keep this at full I raise the fader at 100 % and I release the BUMP button. that's work !

After a while I want to turn off this sub Cut, so I press again the BUMP and Hold to keep the sub at Full  and then go down the fader at 0 (with still the bump pressed) but the sub doesn't stay at 100%.

The only solution is to put the fader at 99% so like that when I press the bump and hold I can turn off the fader and it stay at Full untill a release the Button.

On every other desk i know, a flash button has the priority; Why not on eos desk  ?

I do a lot of manual things and it's not possible on eos desk, that's sad.

thanks

  • I'm not near a console at the moment to test, but does it change if you set the sub behaviour to HTP instead of LTP?

  • Nope, it doesn’t change anything.
    I’m on the latest version.

  • check if the bump button is a hold so when you press it it will hold in a 100% state and then when pressed it will release it. This can be found in the sub config page by pressing sub sub x (x being the sub number)

  • Did you try ?
Because for me even if I change to hold, the bump still doesn’t have the priority.

I push up the fader then I press the bump and keep it pressed and pull down the fader, the sub doesn’t stay at full.

  • You want the button in manual or man not hold. If I get a chance on a console today I will have a look.

  • I can see that as well, and I've found an older post describing similar behavior (in that case they used the sub's Hold function which was released when the fader is moved down).

I will start a discussion with the team and update here, when we know more.

  • Thank you
