Can you make an image button on a magic sheet?

So I wanna make a nice looking magic sheet. Can I use images as buttons or make an invisible button with an image behind it?

Yes to both. 
 There are some specialized objects that will need to be used for certain functions (like sACN input), but for most functions you can use any object. Buttons is one of those.
