Hello dear ETC and Fellow lighting workers,
We have been for about 4 weeks now trying to deal with a new problem in our lighting operating rig. We have recently changed our Mac from an intel CPU to a new M4 Mac mini. Since that change we have been having problems with the EOS family software that no longer wants to connect to our master ONLY after we turn the Mac off and on again after the first software download.
I have linked a video that shows the program synchronizing after the software download and no longer doing so after a reboot of the Mac. If we delete the app and redownload the synchronizing works again making our initial solution: Never turning the MAC off ever again (not a great solution).
Other than the Mac itself nothing has changed in our hardware or what is connected to the Mac. We have tried on a M2 Mac book air and the problem doesn't occur, pointing at a compatibility issue with the new M4 for now.
