ION boots to BIOS

Hi,

My client says his ION XE boots to BIOS some times. The desk is one year old. Restart is helping but still it makes us nervous. Any hint how to fix it?

I would check if there is nothing pressing down on your keyboard. Holding down a certain key (sometimes F12) during boot can cause the BIOS screen to appear.

Just had the same thing happen and it is caused by a failing CR2032W CMOS battery on the motherboard. It can be replaced but they need to be bought from ETC or Amazon https://amzn.eu/d/inzxIwA
