Apex 20 bootup no control of automated fixtures

Have an Apex 20 and sometimes not always upon boot up I have no control over my automated moving fixtures ( mac quantum washes). The rest of the console works fine I can run cues etc. I just have no control of anything automated and cant change my encoder screen at all -  normally a reboot will fix this , however today I rebooted three times and still no control 

Anyone else have this issue ?

    i had the same issue working with an apex 10.
    If you start the console you can recognize the console is working fine if the mini encoder lights up (maybe in differnet coulours).

    If not your encoder display should be grayed out - as i remember.
    I had the problem not every time but in a random pattern but for me only one reboot worked the most time and then the mini encoder lights up.

    I think the hardware behind the encoder display have to be replayced but for more precise and professional information contact your local ETC support:
