Ion - swapping monitors

Have upgraded to ver 1.9 on my ION and have been having plenty of fun (and some bewilderment) with the new TAB key (doesn't seem a massive amount of info out there on TAB for ION users yet)

Anyways, just wondering with the demise of the SWAP key whether you can still swap the displays over when using dual monitors or do we have to fumble around the back unplugging things now?

  • You can still swap monitors, just not in the same sense as the swap key. To move a tab, hold down the tab key (swap on Ion consoles) and use the arrow keys to move it between monitors. I find it incredibly useful to move the direct selects to the right screen while programming and have the channel view on the left screen.
