ION Mac offline client display switch

Our designer wants to roam around the theatre with a headset and keep programming, so we're testing the mirror mode on MacBook Pro and our wireless network.  We are able to connect and run it - it's stable with no disconnects - very sexy!  However, we can't swap displays in the mirror client.  It's stuck on the cue list, we want it on the channel display.  F2 and F3 seem to flash the channel list for a second, then it jumps back to the cue list.  It's not useful to us unless we can get the channels to display.  Anyone out there doing this successfully?  I spoke to the nice after-hours people but we couldn't figure it out.  I'll call in the morning, but I'd love to get the designer roaming tonight and avoid moving the entire tech table around the theatre.

Thanks!

  • Nick, When you are first booting up into the offline editor instead of clicking to go into the client click on the settings tab. There is a check box there for: Full Screen Editor. Unclick that then click accept. Now when you boot into the client it will show you two windows instead of being stuck in one fullscreen which you will have no ability to change. Hope this helps
