Is there any way to choose a specific IP address to output to on ETC Nomad?

Which protocol(s) are you looking to intercept?

And how do you want to intercept them? sACNview or ArtNetominator? Wireshark?

Trying to intercept artnet, I've been using artnetview to no avail. Honestly if I could intercept it at all I think I'd be set, my end goal is to route it through touchdesigner software.

Might need to specify, I need to route it through the same device, hence why choosing the ip address would be beneficial in this case. I have had no issues routing other consoles into my mac, it has just been with running the Nomad ETC Eos software on the same machine. I've even tried using a VLAN but it just seems as though ETC software completely ignores that too.

In general an application doesn't choose which VLAN it wants to use.

ArtNet can use unicast, multicast and broadcast, it's not always easy to understand what's happening. But looking at ArtNet output from my local PC without any special config does show levels:

Are you sure you have ArtNet output activated in Setup > Device and Patch > Protocols and you're not using Offline mode?

Unfortunately while I am able to get arnet out of the Eos nomad software and onto the network, my issue still persists unless I either use extra external hardware or find some other solution.

I am trying to intercept the data before it even leaves the device. Ideally my setup would look like this:

Etc Software (outputs to) > 127.0.0.1 (loopback address)
while at the same time
Touch designer (software) is listening for artnet on 127.0.0.1
Touch designer would then get all of what ETC is outputting. 

With hardware I'd have to do something like route ethernet out of my device, then root it back into my device with another adapter. Or somehow use wifi to re-route the signal coming out of my device back into my device.

My setup is sort of similar to a visualizer setup.. Except I guess instead of offline mode it would be online..?

Specifying which IP address to output to, especially if I could specify the localhost (127.0.0.1) would be the best case scenario without use of hardware, at least from what I can tell.

Maybe I'm missing the bigger picture? Or maybe my problem is too niche, I'm not sure.

Do you have a loopback adapter installed?

I was under the impression that MacOS's built-in lo0 interface was this adapter, though I'm not sure how to get Eos software to see it.
