When I try to update my ETCnomad software with each new release, the "about" CIA screen and ECU Settings say I'm still running 3.2.5, despite installing software from after that release. It doesn't matter how I install it, either via the ECU Software Update button or expanding and installing the .pkg from the download, it still says version 3.2.5 is what is installed.
Interestingly, when I run the Eos Family Welcome Screen application as opposed to the ETCnomad application, it's information is correct with the update I most recently installed, and has the software from said update. The "Mirror" mode in Magic Sheets appears when I run the software from "Welcome Screen", but not from "ETCnomad". I also can't run the same show file in both versions at the same time.
Eos Family Welcome Screen doesn't appear in the Mac's Launchpad, but is in the Applications folder. I have been assuming they are two parts of the same system, and that both are needed concurrent to the other, similar to (for example) Adobe Creative Cloud needing 10 apps that don't open to the user but are needed to check and manage the software. Is this not the case? Both installed when I first downloaded the software.
Do I have two instances of different ETCnomad systems running on my computer, or is it one system with two versions running with the same files? And, is it safe to delete one of them?
