On both a mac studio (ethernet via port) and a macbook (over Wifi) I can connect to my Ion console, but only if the usb dongle is connected before starting up the mac computer.
Then with everything up and running and connected, if I close the EOS software and reopen it, or if I plug in the dongle after start up (rather than having it connected and then starting up), the software will not connect, instead get stuck at "searching for master console".
Essentially it means the only way I can use the EOS software is restart my computer any time I want to open the EOS software (or that I have it permanently running from start up).
Running latest versions on all devices (EOS 3.2.10 build 36 with fixture library 3.2.10 build 18) with same language on all (US English)
Any ideas as to why this might be the case?
