locking cues lists

is it possible to lock cue lists from recording new cues in to them?

the current way i have my cue list's setup are on some playbacks which i use to call say a cyc colour roll at 3 diffrent rates. well when i call up these then hit record i've been trumped many time's of recording cues in to the wrong list.

can a cue list be locked from recording new cues in to it? if not could you add a setting in the cue list window for locking a list?

Hi. No, at this time, this isn't supported. We are adding a feature from about 180 degrees off from this - which is to prevent the contributions of a cue list from ever storing into other record targets. Regarding this request.... will ponder. First time its come up.

Andrew,

The Lock Symbol is merely a way of locking the display. If using multiple cuelists clicking the lock will stop you from changing your current list on the PSD every time you post a different list to the command line.

Quite useful if you change the Format of the PSD to show 2 cuelists, lock the top one (your main cuelist for example) and leave the bottom unlocked so it displays the list you are currently working with.

Also, on Eos, you can open multiple PSD tabs - you could then lock the lists on various tabs to various lists.

Okay, I see that this is a feature... someone managed to get my console to display 2 cue lists on one screen so the question is...

1) How is this accomplished?

2) How do I make it go away?

Highlight the PSD (Tab 2)

Press the [Format] button, each press will change your PSD screen format.. There are currently three available.

Brian, opening multiple copies of the PSD (just like the live display) is done from the browser. If you go to "Displays", you see an option for PSD, click on that and the desk will ask you if you want to open a new PSD display. Once opened, to close it, tab to it (using either just the tab button or Tab & Tab number) - then press escape.

Remember also the Tab & Clear will close all open displays except 1 (live/blind) and 2 (PSD).
