Mac Nomad Client causing network wide dropouts

We're running an Ion Xe as Master, and at At5 Gio @5 as backup, with no problems on 3.2.10, when I try to join with a Mac Nomad client on MacOS 15.4.1 all with static IP's I need to restart the Xe before Nomad can join the party.. I can see all the other devices on the network when I ping them... It seems that after an unknown time interval, the master console no longer advertises its presence over the network to Nomad.

Secondly, introducing the Mac Nomad client renders the network unstable, causing frequent freezes on the Gio, and both the Mac and Gio lose connect at random intervals and then reconnect..

Am I holding it wrong? Or is this behaviour that others have seen.. at present I can't use Nomad as it's crippling the network..

Many thanks

  • I'm still a relative novice when it comes to EOS so I may get some terminology wrong, however I've just signed up because over the past few days I've noticed that when I have EOS running on my Mac Mini M4 my network seems to grind to a halt. Once I've closed EOS, things seem to kick back in again.

More specific information, I've recently been testing a set up OSC TX/RX with QLab 5, so my issue could be related to an incorrect setup around that.

    I think I'm running EOS 3.2.10.36 and MacOS 15.4.

EOS is running in "Offline" mode as I don't have a license key attached at home, generally pre-plotting and using A3D.

Apologies if this isn't related, this was the first search result that appeared when I searched for my problem and thought it was interesting that it was also posted today.
