Is there a chance that we might see an EOS build for linux in the future?

Little bit disappointed to see previous requests for this to be shut down so brusquely by moderators, feels like a Linux build of EOS is as deserving as a MacOS one. After all, no consoles run on MacOS but ETC support that OS so why shouldn't we have the same support for linux? It would certainly be an easier job than supporting Macos.

Even if not possible, would appreciate proper justification as to why, instead of just "no" which was what a previous poster got as a response!

  • I have no idea how difficult or otherwise it would be to port EOS to a new platform - possibly more difficult than any benefit they may see.

I do agree it would be nice though - I run MagicQ on a dedicated NUC running a streamlined Linux installation which boots faster than any win / Mac computer or real console and is rock solid stable.
