Macro to Switch Playlist in Command Line

Hi All,

I am trying to get a macro that can be triggered from within a cue to switch to a different cuelist in the command line.  I have a macro as follows:

 Cue 1/  #  

It works when I enter the macro command manually, but can't seem to fire it from within a cue.  I noticed on another post that Macros currently don't affect the command line in certain instances, and was wondering if this is one of those cases.

For further reference, I am trying to make a "Go To Cue - Next - Time - 0" macro to fire from a different cuelist on a faders bump button, which works, but then it leaves me in the wrong cuelist for editing/recording.

Any Thoughts?

  • DJS, right now any macros fired from a cue run in the background, not affecting the command line.  That's why you are having trouble trying to get both of these macros to do what you want.  Manually fired macros always post to the command line.

    In 1.9.5 (late summer), we are adding the option to force any macro into the background or the foreground (command line) regardless of how they are triggered.
