Just a couple of things to do with effects that came up whilst we were programming shows here last week:
1. One of our programmers was plotting a step-based effect with 70-odd steps in it. He wanted then to delete steps 31 through 60. He selected those steps, and deleted them, but instead of the desk deleting steps 31 through 60, and renumbering steps 61 through 70 as 31 through 40, it deleted all the steps after about step 3, just leaving the first three steps. Strange. This was on our Ion in the big studio - v1.9.
2. On our Eos in the Main House, the op was in a cue with an intensity effect (linear, I think) running on a couple of channels, and wanted to cut into the next cue, which had no effect on the channels, but to hold the effect. So he captured the channels, expecting it would capture the effect, and cut forward a cue. The effect didn't capture - only the background intensity of the channels was captured. Should this be the case? Also v1.9.
