I want to use an ETC Ion(1024) and a Macbook pro with dongle (6K) together to be able to control more than just 1024 outputs.
I've been able to make this set up on a regular base but the connection between the 2 devices drops sometimes. Sometimes it just connects autmatically again, sometimes it not reconnects at all. But sometimes it has no problems at all. Like this it doesn't feel secure enough to work with.
Does anybody have any suggestions.
My set up:
Macbook pro with Mac OS 12.7.6 with dongle
ETC Ion 1024
both have the same ETC software version 3.2.12
the connection is direct, with Macbook on DHCP. With a router between the 2 devices the connection doesn't work.
