Element Touchscreens

I would like to use touchscreens on an old Element console (OS version 2.2.0.9.3 – start screen version 2.9.3.12). Unfortunately, the console does not recognise either of them. I am using the following touchscreens: iiyama ProLite T2254MSC.
I'm afraid that the system is not compatible with these screens. Is there perhaps still a way to install the screens?

Does anyone have a solution?
Thanks, Jan

  • Does your Element console have 1 or 2 Ethernet ports?  If it has 1 port, then you have a Windows XP embedded OS and can only use a "5-wire restive" touch screen.  ELO made these.  They are usually VGA only, so you can only support 1 on this model of Element.  If you have 2 Ethernet ports, then you are running Windows 7/10 Embedded OS and any Windows 7 compatible touch monitor will work.  You can have up to 2 screens.
