How to use new fixture type after library update

When you add a new fixture library and want to "Re-Map" a fixture type to the new library option, how is the re mapping accomplished?

You patched a fixture type and this fixture type received an update through an updated fixture library? 
 In that case you should see an asterisk (*) in front of the fixture type in patch. This means you can go to Patch > Fixtures, select the fixture type on the left and then use the left-hand softkey Update Profile. 
 Please make sure to read the warning text before clicking OK.
