Prevent recording DMX winch moves in lighting cue list (and vice versa)

Hello,
I am currently working on a show with curtains operated by Wahlberg DMX winches. I would like to prevent these winch moves from being recorded into my cue list 1 (which should be for lighting only), and also prevent other fixtures from being recorded into my cue list 2 (which should be for the winches only).
Do you know if this is possible?

thanks a lot !

  • Another option is to park a channel - we use that for backstage lights on dimmers that we not only want to be excluded from recording into channels, but also to prevent output from occuring (or perhaps being locked a a specific value). But as the moderator said, nothing life-safety (Eg people can be injured if it does unexpected things at the wrong time) should ever be controlled by ANY DMX system. Error correction, deadman/safety switches, etc., are all necessary.
