[BUG] what happened to query

Eos Version 3.3.0.189

Why can't I add any more channels after the query?

"Query DarkMove Or LiveMove + 5"  no longer works???

This works up to the last update

Why can't I find a not even in show recorded channel with a specific keyword in blind but in live

"Query Text1 HMI27" find the one channel live but not in blind

i don't know if this worked before 3.3.0

now i have to change a bunch of macros or downgrade

  • We'll look into this report. Which version were you using before you updated?

  • While we're still researching you can work around this by closing the Query command with Enter. This will select the channels and you can continue as usual. E.g. continuing with + or - will add to your command line. You can of course also use Select Last to re-open the terminated command line..

  • I'm hoping to know if this was a permanent change if possible. I updated to 3.3.2 hoping it would fix this, but I am still noticing differences in query that are affecting macros.

I have macros that query for live and dark moves and deletes them from the active cue.

    It used to be:

ClearCmd Query LiveMoves <or DarkMoves> - Intensity Delete Cue <Enter><Enter>

Which used to delete live or dark moves if there were any, and would error out and not cause problems if there weren't any. It worked great.

Now, as of 3.3.0 and still in 3.3.2, with this recommended change of hitting enter afterwards, this same macro will delete the cue if there is not any live/dark moves. I've also tried hitting enter and then select last, but the results were the same. I've resolved to add WaitForEnter to my macros, but that's another keystroke to remember and if it doesn't find any channels to affect, you have to escape out of the macro in order to not delete cues. Very obnoxious.

I'd love it to go back to how it was before, not requiring an enter termination before acting on the queried channels.
